Designed on 1,000 sqm land, in Santa Maria da Feira, Porto (Portugal). The building is simple, and is built around the idea of a central open passage between two sides of the land – through the house, dividing it into Private-Public-Private circulation. The central passage is built of a series of courtyards of different character – garden, covered entrance, interior court, water reflecting pool, and garden again, creating a see-through effect of the house. Porto house is in a neighborhood with houses being designed by Alvaro Siza, Eduardo Souto Moura and many others, on square parcellation.
